The combination of travel services offered to you constitutes a package tour as defined in the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of November 16. Therefore, you will enjoy all the rights applicable to package tours under EU law. PICOS OUTDOOR will be fully responsible for the proper execution of the package tour as a whole. Furthermore, as required by law, PICOS OUTDOOR is covered by a guarantee to reimburse your payments made and, if transportation is included in the tour, to ensure your repatriation in the event of insolvency.

Main rights under the TRLGDCU:

• Travelers will receive all essential information about the package tour before entering into the contract.

• There will always be at least one business owner responsible for the proper execution of all travel services included in the contract.

• Travelers will be provided with an emergency telephone number or contact details where they can get in touch with the organizer.

• Travelers may transfer the package tour to another person, with reasonable notice and, where applicable, subject to the payment of additional expenses.

• The price of the package tour may only be increased if specific expenses arise (for example, fuel costs) and are expressly stipulated in the contract, and in no case within the last twenty days prior to the start of the package tour. If the price increase exceeds eight percent of the package tour price, the traveler may terminate the contract. If the organizer reserves the right to increase the price, the traveler will be entitled to a price reduction if the corresponding expenses decrease.

• Travelers may terminate the contract without penalty and receive a full refund of all payments made if any essential element of the package tour, other than the price, is significantly altered. If the tour operator cancels the package tour before it begins, travelers are entitled to a refund of payments made and, where applicable, compensation.

• In exceptional circumstances, for example, if there are serious security problems at the destination that could affect the package tour, travelers may terminate the contract before the start of the package tour without paying any penalty.

• In addition, travelers may terminate the contract at any time before the start of the package tour by paying a reasonable and justifiable termination penalty.

• If, after the start of the package tour, significant elements of it cannot be provided, suitable alternative arrangements must be offered to the traveler at no additional cost.

• Travelers will also be entitled to a price reduction and/or compensation for damages in the event of non-performance or incorrect performance of travel services.

• The organizer and the retailer must provide assistance to the traveler in case the traveler is in difficulty.
