Picos Outdoor is a mountain guide company in the Picos de Europa region, created by Rubén CV, an engineer with a higher level of occupational risk prevention, a mountain sports technician, a member of the AEGM (Spanish Association of Mountaineering Engineers) with international UIMLA accreditation, and a snowboard sports technician with CAG2-ACNA training in avalanche terrain safety.

At Picos Outdoor, the mountains are our passion. With our experience and training, we love to enjoy them and help our clients enjoy them even more than we do, fostering a love of the mountains with safety and respect for nature, interpreting the landscape, flora, fauna, and local culture. We speak Spanish, English, and French.
Our specialty is trekking in our home, the Picos de Europa, including the spectacular Picos Ring Trail, summits, and the historic Reconquista Route. We also offer trekking and hiking activities in the Cantabrian Mountains, Pyrenees, Alps, Atlas Mountains, Nepal, Morocco, Iceland… As you can see, we organize adventure trips to anywhere in the world, for all levels, so everyone can participate, enjoy nature, and get started in this exciting world of mountain and nature activities. And when we say everyone, we mean children, adults, and of course, your pets.
We have a very attractive annual program, including trekking in the Picos de Europa, which we believe is a must, as well as other must-do locations.
Training and safety courses
We also offer training courses with activities related to the mountains and the natural environment, such as our orientation and GPS courses, safety courses, and more for groups and individuals.
For your safety, teveryone Guides who work with Picos Outdoor Mountain Guides have qualifications as Mountain Sports Technicians and all activities include accident and liability insurance.
