Lasting a total of 14 days, we will live an experience that we will remember for a lifetime, visiting one of the most beautiful countries in the world, nestled in the Andes Mountains. Himalayas, to undertake one of the most spectacular treks you can do, visiting the land of Sherpa people and passing through its beautiful mountain villages, some located at over 4,000 meters, with unparalleled views towards the highest and most beautiful mountains on the planet, such as the Ama Dablam, the formidable southern wall of Lhotse, the Makalu, the Nuptse, and of course, the highest, the Everest.

He Everest Base Camp Trek, It's a demanding route, but more because of the altitude than its distance or daily elevation gain. Due to the maximum altitude we will reach, 5,545 meters above sea level, Several days of acclimatization are necessary along the route. To conclude this trek, we will enjoy a free day in the beautiful and ancient city of Kathmandu.

Trekking Itinerary

Meet at Kathmandu airport and transfer to the hotel, where we'll have a briefing and pack our backpacks. This day is ideal for buying any missing trekking gear, exchanging money for rupees (much better than in our home countries), etc. We'll be staying in Thamel, Kathmandu's main tourist and commercial district, so we'll have countless shops very close to the hotel. Please keep in mind your flight's arrival time to allow time for any necessary purchases. Overnight stay at the hotel, including breakfast.

A flight of about 40 minutes will take you to Lukla, one of the world's most famous airports and the gateway to Mount Everest in Nepal. On a clear day, the views from the airplane window are breathtaking.
We will meet up with the rest of the expedition in Lukla and head to Phakding after a short tea break. Overnight stay in a lodge with full board.

Distance: 8 km. Elevation gain/loss: +930m -70m

We will walk along a relatively easy path until we reach the Larpchen bridge, at the foot of Namche Bazaar. We'll cross numerous suspension bridges and pass through villages like Benkar and Manjo. Near Manjo, we'll check our permits and enter Sagarmatha National Park. During today's hike, we will be able to see Thamserku and Kusum Kangaru clearly. Furthermore, after an hour and a half uphill walk from the Larpchen bridge, weather permitting, you can enjoy the first views of Mount Everest. The views of Namche Bazaar will relieve the fatigue from the walk. Lodge accommodation with full board.

Distance: 11 km. Elevation gain/loss: +850m -70m

Acclimatization is essential during this trek. We will walk to the Everest View Hotel after breakfast. From the hotel terrace, you will have one of the most breathtaking panoramic views of your life, with mountains such as Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Tabuche, and many others. We will return leisurely to our accommodation in Namche Bazaar, visiting the Everest Museum.. Lodge accommodation with full board.

During this day we will see the Everest during the climb, hidden by the majestic South Face of Lhotse, one of the largest and most difficult in the world. This day andIt is common to see lush forests on both sides of the road and hordes of yaks carrying goods. The route consists of flat, downhill and uphill walks. We will enjoy almost the entire view of the Khumbu Valley from the beautiful village of Tengboche, a place with a special magic due to its beautiful Monastery, and with the foot of Amadablam, one of the most beautiful mountains in the world, as a backdrop. Distance: 10 km. Elevation gain/loss: +920m -900m

A very scenic day thanks to the rivers, forests and a mountainous landscape with the most beautiful mountains in the world in the background. Once we pass through Pangboche and Somare, the Dingboche valley awaits us, nestled between Nagarshan Hill, Chhukung Valley, and Amadablam. Lodge accommodation with full board

Distance: 9 km. Elevation gain/loss: +900m -70m

As part of the necessary acclimatization before ascending to over 4,400m, today we will climb Nagarshan Hill (5,100m). Some trekkers prefer to visit the Chhukung Valley.

We'll return to our lodge to relax. Afterwards, you can stroll through the village, as it's the last major town on the route. Overnight in Dingboche. Accommodation in a lodge with full board.

Distance: 7 km. Elevation gain/loss: +1,000m -90m

We will ascend to Lobuche today, with some flat and rugged trails. Meadows and shrubs are the only vegetation we will see. The most memorable part of today's hike will be the Everest Memorial at Thukla Pass and the views of Pumori, Lobuche, Cholatse and other incredible mountains.

Lobuche is a small, quiet riverside village, opposite the Kong Ma La Pass. Lodge accommodation with full board.

Distance: 4 km. Elevation gain/loss: +150m -1,800m

After ascending the Lobuche Pass, we will cross the moraine. The trail is rugged and rocky, requiring caution. Upon arrival in Gorakshep, we will store our luggage and have lunch. After lunch, we will depart for Everest Base Camp. After an hour and a half walk, we will reach the most coveted place and our main objective. Take photos and create unforgettable memories. We will return to Gorakshep to spend the night. Lodge accommodation with full board

Distance: 13 km. Elevation gain/loss: +500m -1000m

Early in the morning we will ascend Kalapathar before dawn. We will contemplate the fascinating view of Everest, with the sun's rays beginning to illuminate these gigantic mountains. Such a wonderful view is truly worth all the effort put in over these past few days. Then we will descend towards Pheriche, passing through Gorakshep, Lobuche and Thukla. Distance: 16 km. Elevation gain/loss: +500m -1000m

The path is the same as the one used for the ascent, but we will enjoy the return journey with a different perspective and different, though spectacular, landscapes. Lodge accommodation with full board.

Distance: 20 km. Elevation gain/loss: +500m -1000m

This is the happiest day of our hike. With the memory of the Everest crossing in mind, we descend happily, passing through Manjo and Phakding, to reach Lukla. The night can be full of fun and celebrations for the whole group. We will enjoy our last night in the wonderful Khumbu region of Nepal. Lodge accommodation with full board.

Distance: 19 km. Elevation gain/loss: +500m -1000m

Return flight to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. We may have to fly from Ramechhap Airport. The flight will take us back to Kathmandu, and we will transfer to the hotel. We will have a free day in Kathmandu. Hotel accommodation with bed and breakfast.

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport for your return international flight, thus concluding our services. It is advisable to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before your flight's departure.
